GENERAL

• Keyfob and mobile access are personal and untransferable.
• It will take 24 to 48 hours to process your request. You will receive an email when your access is ready. If you paid by e-transfer, please allow up to 5 business days for the transaction to be processed. If you choose a key fob, it will take up to 7 business days to program it. 
• Any Violation of these guidelines will result in the immediate termination of your membership with no refunds.
• If you come in a group, each member has to check in using their key fob or mobile device using the door reader; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your membership.
• Clean the equipment BEFORE and AFTER using it, including all surfaces where your sweat and droplets might reach.
• NO FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed in the gym besides sports beverages and water in closed containers.
• All persons accessing the facilities should be registered members. 
• No member can bring any “guest,” even just for a “look” at the facilities. Such action will result in the suspension of membership.
• Due to recent changes imposed by the Town of Wakaw, we are no longer accepting members under 16 years of age. 

EQUIPMENT

• Put all weights back on their shelves after cleaning them.
• Report any malfunction by sending an email to gym@wakawfitness.ca
• CLEAN all the equipment before and after each use.

MUSIC AND NOISE

• As a show of respect to others, please keep the speaker volume at a normal level. Even when you are alone, there might be some other people in the building that you are unaware of. You must use your headphones if you wish to listen to music at a higher volume.
• In the circuit area, the speakers are forbidden at all times.

ATTIRE

• Proper clothes are required to use the facilities. Shoes are mandatory; absolutely no bare feet or socks are allowed.
• Proper gloves and footwear should be used while using the punching bag.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

• Members are responsible for their belongings.
• There are lockers available to rent.
• All belongings left outside a locker will be removed regularly.
• The use of a locker not assigned to you is not allowed it.

PRIVACY POLICY

• The Wakaw Fitness Centre will not share your information with any third party for any purpose.
• The Wakaw Fitness Centre will disclose the information only when required by the authorities by a subpoena.
• The Wakaw Fitness Centre will disclose your information to the Health Authorities without needing a court order to cooperate with an investigation regarding sanitary risk.
• Cameras are installed throughout the premises and within the facilities in various rooms (with the exception inside the changing rooms and bathrooms), and their footage will be reviewed only during investigations or if a complaint or situation necessitates such a review. The footage from the entrance and exit cameras is examined on a daily basis.
• Cameras are not permitted inside the restrooms and changing rooms. Furthermore, photography and videography are strictly prohibited in these areas, with no exceptions.

LIABILITY

You are using the facilities at risk and are aware of your health conditions.
The Wakaw Fitness Centre, its board members, employees, and volunteers are not responsible for any personal injury or death that may occur while using the facilities or equipment. Due to recent changes imposed by the town of Wakaw, the town may be liable for any incidents that occur inside its facilities.
